Why do you want a fox for a pet? Foxes are not meant to be pets . They're meant to live in the wild.
PLEASE do not have a wild animal as pet. It is torturous for them.

It is illegal to keep native species as pets in both Canada and the US. This means no pet racoons, squirrels, crows, deer or foxes. You may have heard of people keeping these animals as pets, but if the Fish & Game/Natural Resourses folks caught wind of it, you'd be in trouble. Even people who rehabilitate injured wildlife have to have permits to do so.

you have to get a permit from your local DNR. There should be some rescue operations in your area or check some exotic animal sites. Word of warning I had foxes before. We used to collect their urine for trapping purposes. They remain wild and rarely ever get very tame without extensive training. If you don't have more than a few hours daily to tend and take care of them they will be wild and be unruley. We live trapped ours as kits right by dens in sand ridges. Cute little things when young.

I know someone with a pet silver fox and she is getting wilder and they're fixing to have to let her go 'cause she tearing up her house i would not reccommend u to get one cause thats a wild animal that needs to stay wild

foxes are wild animals and are not made to be pets.say you got one and it had rabies and it bit you, that would be bad

go to a pet store/set alive trap in a forest.
