I used to be a guy, so here goes: Women have a goodly number of reasons to nag, the same as men have good reason to gripe about the women in their lives.
And your question is discriminatory towards women.

If i nagged my BF he would tell me to piss off, because people can't really tell other people what to do, even if they want to for whatever reason.

Define Nag.
If its the verbal explosion that greets you the second you return home at night then I know what you mean. It's like someone gave them 10 seconds to tell you everything that was on their mind.
or is it the insistance that they can bring up past sins everytime they want to win an arguement.
More likely its the misplaced belief that they can tell you what to do for fear of being denied marital priviledges.(please note I don't say rights)
It's not that we're not listening, it's that we couldn't care less what you think. Marriage is about having to wait for what you want. You taught us that!!!
We tolerate them. Nothing more! ;-)

my boyfriend said they think they can always do better. and that equal rights should have never changed. he said the grass always looks greener on the other side until you get their. personally, stay away from a nag. wish you the best

Well, as the comic says, "We're not supposed to burp or fart, or even sweat much...if we didn't bit*h, we'd f**king explode!" But seriously, I think it is because women are programmed to raise children and guide them into being properly socialized.
and if y'all wuz properly socialized already, we'd back the hell off.
