Anwar Sadat won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1978.
Naguib Mahfouz won the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1988.
Ahmed H. Zewail won the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 1999.
Mohamed ElBaradei won the Nobel Peace Prize in 2005.
