Cats because they are very independant and easy to care for...
Various tropical and non-tropical aquarium fish... the colors can be very extreme and yes, some of them do have personalities...
In one of my aquariums I have a 12 inch goldfish in a 29 gallon tank that taps the thermometor against the glass when he wants attention / food...
