Delete all temp files under TEMP directory
The internet may be slow.
Or you may need more space in your hard disc.
Or you may need more RAM.

If you're using dial-up, expect download speeds of 1 kb/s to 5 kb/s. If you're using broadband, expect download speeds of 100 kb/s to 500 kb/s. If you don't fall within those guidelines, you are either using a very poor ISP, or your computer is not too good.

Sounds like spyware or malware. Grab a copy of AdAware and SpyBot (google them) and run those two scans. Bet you have some "stuff" reportin' back to their makers. Also, if you don't have them already, get Zonealarm and a virus-scanner installed.

not enough information. if you have AOL or A O HELL as i like to call it that is why it is so slow. if you use somting else it might be because of viruses or spyware/Adware

it is probably your internet connection not your computer, get dsl or cable and it will increase alot
