I agree 100%. I have always thought this and you have to be a complete idiot not to agree. I am a Jewish sympathiser. In fact, I have studied Jewish History particularly the Holocaust for many years, in fact I have just got back from Auschwitz, where I was moved to tears. However, the Jewish have no rightful claim to Israel, which has been inhabited by Palestinians for centuries. Whether the Palenstinians have a right to be there is a different question, but the fact is they were occupying 'Israel' quite successfully and tolerating the Jewish minority there. Even though, I agree that the Jews after the Holocaust deserved a haven from the destruction, loss and persecution they suffered in Europe, I don't think they can just claim a land, certainly not without any consequences, which unfortunately, the consequence seems to be the state of the Middle East today. There is a very simple solution to all this, where both sides will be happy, give the Palestinians the occupied territories back (which they seem to have only occupied and kept as punishment for the war with Egypt and Syria) and give them equal and undisturbed passage to the important Muslim sites in Jerusalem, therefore they will get rid of Hamas as they will feel no need for such a right-wing last resort party and therefore the situation will be sorted, or at least, the sort of peace seen in Palenstine before Israel was declared a state in 1947.

1. There are many other world conflicts that have nothing to do with Israel BUT the vast majority of 'Middle Eastern' conflicts do evolve around the 'Israel' issue.

2. At this point, it would be impossible to just erase or undo the creation of Israel so that's just not even something to consider or waste energy on thinking about.

3. There should have been a palestine state created a long long time ago. Until Palestine is recognized as a state, this conflict can't even begin to be resolved.

Its useless to what-if.

Througout history, many different peoples have occupied the lands that are currently part of the state of Jerusalem. Descendants of any of these people, including Jews, Palenstinians, and others could make a claim to those lands.

It doesn't really matter in the end. The Israelies are there, after many attacks by many other countries, they are still there. They are not going anywhere.

If the peoples who now inhabit those regions cannot learn to live together in peace, then they will live together in war.

As far as i am concerned, Israel should be wiped off the map.

Peace will then come to the Mid-East when jewish and american influence is removed.
