Unlikely. They prefer the slugs and catapillers that are probably the things doing it. Frogs and toads an an absolute asset to a garden.

I must say that all the answers before me are correct. Frogs don't eat lettuce, Frogs eat bugs!
You have an insect problem!
Just as the other answers suggested it is probably slugs, snails, or beetles.
Get out early and look for silver trails glistening in the morning dew! That would be slugs or snails.
Stale beer in shallow pans, or diotonatious earth, sprinkled around the base of the plants will ward of those guys. Beetles are a little more difficult. It means finding out what type of adult beetle you have and then killing it and it's grub with pesticide of some kind with out poisoning your veggies.
SO, if it isn't slugs or snails, catch the beetle and mail it to your local extent ion service for identification and make sure when you ask for pesticide advice you let them know that it is a food crop!

It's not frogs that are eating your lettuce. You must have a big slug problem because slugs do eat lettuce, they love it. Toads should always be welcome in anyone's garden because they eat bugs. To find out if you have a slug problem, try this: Place a few small (1' long) pieces of scrap wood in several places throughout your garden. The next day, go to your garden and take a can with some salt water in it with you. Then, lift up each piece of
wood to see if there are any slugs beneath them. If there is, just pick them up and put them in your can of salt water. (If you're squeemish, take some pliars to pick the slugs up with.) The salt water will kill them. You need to do this every day, til you no longer find any slugs under any of the pieces of wood. You can also make small indentations into the ground and place small containers with beer in them. Slugs love beer, they will come to drink and then drown. I hope this helps.
