it depends on how you see communism. its good because there are no classes which means there is no struggle in performances. But it is bad because there are some things that cant be accepted like exceeding. This is where capitalism comes in but I hate capitalism sometimes.

As Chx said, nothing is free.
And i really don't see anything wrong in that. It’s natural. You work harder, you achieve more. Ok, you sometimes have bad luck, but that’s just the way life is. In communism, you can never hope for anything better. So do you think you’d feel motivated to give your best when you know that no matter how hard-working and how skilled you are, you’d get the same treatment as an indolent? How many people could just do that? Maybe one in a million?

Really great article on communism -> http://www.firstthings.com/ftissues/ft0006/articles/novak.html

This fragment below is copied & pasted from another answer of mine (slightly edited):

“Let’s take 2 communist principles and see how they were applied:

*There is no property. You are allowed to live in a 2-room flat with your spouse and 3 kids – you should be thankful for that – that flat was given to you by the communist republic (it’s not really yours – most of your other belongings have already been taken away from you – in order to make everyone equal). In the late years of communism in my country (I’m from Romania), the apartments no longer had kitchens as the state was building very large buildings where all the citizens of the Republic would all have the same meal... (they were known as „The Circuses of Hunger”).
You would have had to eat what the state wanted you to eat (I guess if you refused you would have been called a capitalist and accused of reactionary behaviour against the communist regime and would have stayed in the company of some men from the Secret Police for a couple of nights).

*There are no classes. People are all equal (If an intellectual can do the job, so can a mechanic or a janitor – in Romania, mechanics became philosophy teachers overnight during the communist regime - equal opportunities for everyone)

Well, of course, there were a couple of minor negative aspects to the whole thing –just a few millions who died from starvation or in the political prisons...”

So no, I don’t approve of any of the communist concepts – they are only concepts that cannot be put into practice. I think Chx’s links proved you that.

Communism failure is in its promise to the masses. If you treat everyone the same and everyone has a equal share in producing and the benefits derived from that. There is simply no reason to excel at anything. Why try harder without reward. In a capitalist society there are those that have and those that don't but nothing. With desire, effort, energy, ideas you can rise up. Or if you are given wealth you can lose it all. If you look at the list of the ten richest people in the US right now. they contain people who made their money and the Walton family which is only second generation wealth.

Communism rewards everyone the same and untimately the economy suffers.

Communism is evil. That's why former President Reagan once referred to the Soviet Union as the evil empire. It opresses people and puts them under government control. Many in Cuba, China, and North Korea are suffering and dying and people that do not agree with the government do not have the luxury of freedom of speech like here in America and are either imprisoned or executed. How could anyone in their right mind approve of communism is beyond me. Read up sometimes on how Joseph Stalin treated Russians during his regime and I think you will clearly understand the evils of it!

No one has the freedoms to work to the potential that they may be capable of. Communism would be a horrible way of living as there is only one control, the governments.

Look what happens to them. Poverty. Cubans trying to escape on boats. You wouldn't want to live in China and the Soviet Union fell apart.
