Seen both, depends on how old your son is. Superman is a way better movie, but if your son is a little tyke, he may be a little scared by some of the Superman stuff, and not understand a lot of it, but really love that stupid orange cat!
If he is 30, on the other hand, it's Superman, hands down.

I have not seen either one, but I will see them both this weekend and I am sure The lakehouse will be a great romantic love story. My little bro saw Super man Returns and loved it so your son would most likely like that one better.
