You can always join the club of about 30 million other kids that want to increase their vertical leap by about 8-12 inches. I understand that their next meeting is this Thursday. Normally, they meet on Tuesdays, but they switched it to Thursday this week because of the 4th of July holiday...
You get better at jumping the exact same way you'd get better at ANYTHING... go out and do it.
Get a good jump rope and USE IT. This will help strengthen your legs and your ankles, as well as increase your stamina and coordination.
Stand under a basket and, with your arms raised, jump up and down about 25 reps at a time...(we used to do fifty, but I realize kids aren't as tough today as we were back then, lol :-) )
Then relax by shooting around or working on other aspects of your game... then go back to doing the jumping reps... (the reason you do this under a basket is so that you can guage your progress, as you get closer and closer to the rim).
If that sounds too difficult for you, then find another goal... outside of 'performance enhancing' drugs, there's no way to do what you want to do, other than a whole lot of hard work... unless you go through a growth spurt, in which case you might not need 8-12 inches...
Good luck to you

Try looking for those jump training shoes which help with plyometrics. Other than that, just try doing the usual jumping type exercises, where you jump and try to touch a specific goal, do box jumps, and of course, constantly stretch. The ability to jump is not only in your legs (and calves particularly), but also in your feet and ankles. So all forms of strengthening, conditioning and training in those areas is bound to help. Good luck.

your vertical leap is hard to increase that drastically, but there are many training aids out there that claim to help you add several inches to your vertical jump/leap. Here are two such aids. I would search google for vertical leap training aids and you can research which one would work best for you and your budget.
