I personally bank with BOA and I love them, and although I bank with them because they are everywhere, Wachovia is more widespread in VA, DC, MD and PA which is where I am from and there are tons of Wachovia Banks up there.

BOA is the best if you don't plan to stay here for ever. If you live on the VA side of DC get wachovia. If you live in the District or on the MD side get Chase

Hmmmmmmm I don't really know which Bank is best. My suggestion would be to visit each; get a feel for what "they can do for you"... not what you can give them. Make a decision that way.
