Yahoo messenger or AOL messenger. I am sure there are a lot of others. MSN must be the worst one ever, it has never worked properly for me.

There is also ICQ, Yahoo, Aim, IRC, Google Talk, can try programs such as Gaim and Trillian for an all-in-one (excluding google talk I believe).

Yes if you type INSTANT MESSENGER into yr browser you will see them all with a bit of luck.. Good luck

I use trillian as well. it allows you to view msn, yahoo, aol, etc all at the same time.
