I know that this could only be possible in the last 3 books ( 5th, 6th, 7th) but I would like to hear your opinions about it.
(I came across a few fan fics where he is gay.)

I know he ISN'T gay (I read the 5th and 6th book), I have just wondered if this little piece of Harry Potter's fact would affect your attitude toward the whole HP universum

Love Harry Potter... I'm actually for a summer project am re-reading the books. If he was ummm actually ummm gay...it wouldn't matter. Being that is was fictional anyways... Been gay in real life (I'm not but have freinds that are) is ok too. Every one is different and every one has there own sexual prefrence.

What does it matter if a character in a book, or even a real person, is homosexual rather than heterosexual? And, in the context of the Harry Potter books, which are books dealing with the subject of magicke, it is important to remember that the magickal community has a number of different but acceptable lifestyles than other more conservative communities.

to be honest this seems like a dumb question. your missing the whole point of the series. its not about harry's love life!! its about growing up, figuring out who you are, and of course the whole good vs. evil, and a bunch of other things.
so what if a fan fic said he's gay..they could say he's irish and smokes weed for all i care :P it still has nothign to do with the actual story and point of the series.

of course because his is not a love story but a story about his adventures and courage and survival so I would definitely not discontinue reading his books or seeing his movies. I am an ardent Harry Potter fan.

He's been in love with Ginny and Cho it's obvious he isn't gay, he also doesn't express intrest in men. I also write Fanfictions and we usually twist a plot to make the characters act like how we want them too, I can take a character say...Sesshomaru from InuYasha and make him do it with everything that moves if I want.

It wouldn't matter. Then again, I hope JKR doesn't write that in.
She has way to much to write about in book 7 besides having to explain the complexity of a gay relationship

lol, That's the first time Ive heard of a gay witch. I admit that I have watched the movies even though they are glorifying witchcraft. I wouldn't watch a movie that had gay scenes in it. (brokeback mountain)

there is no way he is going to turn gay, i bet u in the 7th book he marries ginny, and the sixth book is already out, u need to catch up on the times
