Rub an ice cube on the gum and scrape the frozen gum off with a table knife. (Also gets gum out of your hair!)

I think you can try putting the clothes in the freezer. After the gum is frozen, it should come out easier.

freeze it in the freezer so the gum gets hard and then it should be able to be peeled off w/ out getting sticky
