A sensitive Scot??? You're having us on, aren't you, pat o? ;-)
Anyway, I said nothing about your argyle socks, sweaty or otherwise. Nor did I comment on your bagpipes or in which orifice you might place them. Actually, I quite like the sound of bagpipes.
But honestly, are there no Scots who feel anything but hostility for their neighbours south of the wall? I have the blood of the English, Scottish and Irish flowing through my veins and I find that the Anglo-Saxon, Celtic and Pictish streams run together quite smoothly... though they do boil up on occasion. Cheers!

I don't think I've answered any of your questions so far, so I really don't know about the "personal abuse" you say.
What I can tell you for sure though is that once you decide to post a question you must learn to accept ALL answers and not only the ones you like, coming from people that apparently agree with you.
By the way, is there a chance your questions might have been a bit insulting???

This is true sportmanship you see here. I learned a long time ago that I don't like sports because of the sportie people you find. I think they should take the beariers down after the games and let the sportie people get together down on the field. It would be easy to clean up.. Just dig a big hole in the parkling lot and bulldose the pilles of dead sportie people who just got finished killing eachother after the game into the hole and repave it. Do that after each game (may take 4 games to get them all) and the problem will take care of it's self.
True sports and church are about the same. Kill anyone that don't believe the same why you do.

Oh......I see where you are going with these questions.....the word bagpipes explains it all. Don't resort to bitterness, Scotland may have a chance to get to the World Cup finals one day.

If your questions were attracting abuse than maybe you should not ask them when England has just lost and emotions are running high, but using foul language or being plain rude shows nothing but idiots who cannot answer your question , they don't know you so ignore them and hope they get help

That's the way most of the people on this site are. They think by insulting, degrading and hurting users' feelings it somehow makes them a funny, bigger person. It all boils down to the fact that these people have absolutely no life whatsoever and they feel their stupid answers are actually funny. Don't let it get to you. It's just a lazy, boring, lifeless person who has nothing better to do with their life.
Report them.

no - no chance to get them calmed down.
it's football and a mass-event and masses push you in doing things you wouldn't do on your own and no event to connect it with (see WWII).
i don't like it that but i still love football
