What I mean is do you think an online degree is creditable to companies when you tell them you have one, therefore is it worth the money to invest in an online degree?

You don't have to if it's a real University. I went to Coastline College in Fountain Valley in California on-line. It's a real College that you can also attend in person. I later went to the University of the Incanate Word. The University has been around in San Antonio since 1865 or near that date. I wouldn't go to, and I won't mention any manes, a college that is only on-line.
I also found that on-line courses are much harder. I had to study longer and harder because there aren't any lectures. The work level is harder because they're trying to justify on-line degrees.
I would take one from a University that is not just on-line. You can say... "Yes my degree is from such and such" and they won't even know. If they do ask, in an interview, you can tell them that you actually worked harder to get it. It's a degree, not just an online degree. It's accredited the same as the attended only if the school is accredited. You'll find that the real universities are even cheaper than the one I haven't named. It starts with a 'P'

If it is a reputable university, of course it's worth the money. I am attending WGU on-line to receive my teaching degree. The school will assist me in finding a place to do my student teaching when the time comes. Schools usually hire their student teachers, if they are worth a darn. So it doesn't really matter where your degree comes from. I agree with the statement that on-line classes are harder classes. I have done it both ways and I can attest to this fact. It probably depends on what type of degree we are talking about here, what field is it in and what other experiences do you bring with you.
Hope that helps!

I dont think so, coz online degree wont give you exposer to real college life experiance, you tent to get experiance, learn a lot in college then sitting home online.

Although having any college degree is credible, I feel that companies want to see that you physically attended a college, not got your diploma from home. They want to see that you can excel socially.

Becoming more so everyday. My ex-wife was trying to get one through Phoenix. I personally don't think it's worth all that much. Nothing can replace classroom instruction.

It's worth the money, just make sure it's accredited.
