Captain Scarlet was sooo cool I would still watch every episode if they were to re-run it and im a 48 year old granny.Do you think it was better than Thunderbirds?

That's a tough one, Gran. They're both sooo good. But I'm inclined to think that the terror instilled in me by Captain Black (and by the Mysterons) would indeed give the edge to Captain Scarlet over those boys at International Rescue.

Thunderbirds much better than Captain Scarlet.
I could not understand that as the Mysterons could copy any item so they rebuilt their home after Captain Black destroyed it then why take the battle with Earth to well...Earth.
Cor, kids are bored during the summer holiday aren't they? Is that why the Mysterons attacked Earth week in week out ?

I preferred "Thunderbirds". I thought "Captain Scarlet" was too dark for my liking.

I reckon Thunderbirds, it has more stylish vehicles, more humour, more characterisation, and somehow the puppets were more appealing, perhaps because they had less realism but were more like charicatures of real people. I loved Captain Scarlet as well, but somehow it wasn't quite as interesting as Thunderbirds.

Yes I agree I think, Captain Scarlet is slightly better although I never liked any really. I prefer Thundercats!
