In my opinion, Republicans love to live in a state of war.
Republican-run companies and corporations (like...uh... HALIBURTON) call themselves true patriots and claim to care deeply about US troops in Iraq...but only as long as the troops are kept on the frontlines. This practice ensures that the company can consistently reap profits from war.

A state of peace, obviously. Now if you can get the rest of the world to quit killing each other maybe we could have it. People seem to think we are the world's police force since the United Nations is totally ineffectual. Let me ask you, if the United States didn't send troops to fight and die in foreign countries since its inception, what would the world look like today? Would there be a France? Would there be a China? Would there be an Egypt or Libya? It's not like we're looking to take over your countries, all we've asked for in the past was a few feet of space to bury our dead. Bring us peace, we'll be happy as clams to stay home and take care of ourselves since no other nations offer help for us.

I actually believe you can be a republican and still see the error of this administration's ways. If I was a republican, I would not want to see these young (and older) soldiers have to fight in this crazy war for nothing. It amazes me when some republicans say, "We have to have war there or it will be here at home (brainwashed)." Then they say, "Well, if the soldiers get killed then they signed up for the military." If you ask them if they want their children to go or do they won't to go they say, "Well, heck no, I'm afraid I'll get killed." What in the world would we do if we had two or three countries bombing the heck out of us? Would you want to bring our soldiers home then? I just hate the hypocrisy of it all.

Defintely peace, but peace is accomplished through strength, not by running scared. By saying "who else have you been told to hate", definitely shows you to be a "tool" for the left. You are a liberal. Are you part of the San Franciscan homosexual lobby left, or the MoveOn.Org socialist left? Also how do you have time to post blowing goats all day?

I can't speak for everyone, but I've not been "taught to hate" anyone. Aledging that it's only Republicans who have been taught to hate is specious in the extreme.

As to "living in a state of war," contrary to what you have obviously been led to believe, there really are people out there who would happily kill you, rape your mother and girlfriend, steal everything you have, and then blow up your house. If I were you, I'd try lots harder to get a really firm grip on reality.

I'd rather have a righteous war than a terrified peace. If peace means that my daughter may not enjoy the freedom and liberty that I have been blessed to know my whole life, then I'd rather have war. If we can win a war that makes the future more safe for our children, then I am for war.

Peace is worth nothing without liberty.

Would you rather live in a state of subjugation or a state of freedom? Because the wars that you so hate are the only way freedom is retained..... stop fighting and you will sooner or later stop being free.

We are at War and I want it concluded to our collective benefit properly for pseudo intellectuals that means Al Queda Loses and their Liberal Allies(see Bin Ladens Talking points yesterday and Liberal talking points are there) You are on a side based on the question so I am going to assume that you are using deception
I want peace on American Terms only.

I prefer peace, but history repeats itself. Knowing history, I know that peace only comes out of war. Just because you hate the USA, doesn't mean that the USA doesn't want peace.

If we don't destroy terrorism, there will be no peace. Period.

Dumb *** people like you! Just because I'm Republican doesn't mean I love war, I just suport my soldiers that are fighting for me...and I haven't been told to hate anyone. Don't be stupid
