My boyfriends mom is a 'born again christian' and my boyfriend is a mamas boy. We have been living together for two years, I am 20 and he is 25.

His mom WILL NOT let it go. Everytime we see her all I hear is "you two should get married, you need a stronger commitment..." blah blah blah! And last time she said "your parents MUST want you to get married, how do they like it..."

I told her that my parents DO NOT under any circumstance (other than pregnancy) want me to get married until im like 23. And I dont want to be married until Im out of college, have a job, and can have a REALLY expensive honey moon.

YET she keeps insisting. WHAT can you say to this womyn!!! SHES DRIVING ME UP THE WALL. And I need to deal with this until Monday! And my boyfriend just sits there with his mouth zipped tight. (hes not ready either)

Not too much you really can do...except avoid her. You could try the nice, rational talk....but she is not a rational person, as she is a religious nut.

One option is to just piss her off, she will be mad the whole time and it might have other bad effects.....but she won't bug you about marriage, at least.

tell you baby boyfriend to speak up for himself. during dinner or the next time you see your future-mother-in-law...ask him what he thinks and DRAG him into the conversation. he's not being fair to you and should realize that.

once all this drama is done...watch monster-in-law with you new TALKATIVE boyfriend.

I think that he needs to stand up to his mother its not your place. tell him that if he dosent say somethiing to her that you will.and if it comes down to explain to her just like yoou just did.if she dosent understand that then shes not going to understand anything that you tell her.
