I don't think so. There is nothing like reading a book in book form...which I prefer over the internet anyday.

Some people like to read books. Some people(though few)
may never have the means to own a computer.
I sure hope libraries don't become obsolete . Technology is sure heading in that direction though.
I'm a pretty modern person but I think it would be a shame to see that day come.

That may actually happen. But on the other hand...NO! Then if anyone wanted to read a book (yeah right) they would have to buy it off of the computer. Just say a third grader had to get a book on bugs and his teacher didn't want a report... She wanted an actual book from the library. I know teacher like that.

I think that you will start to see libraries go all digital and be accessible online. While you can find almost anything on the Internet, many publications are copyrighted and not available online. Also, sometimes it takes quite awhile before you find the information that you need as you have to weed through all the garbage that is also on the net.

Not everything is available on the Internet, believe it or not. And if you have no computer, then what? Not everybody has one. Some libraries have computers you can use, in addition to all their other stuff.

That will never happen. Hang around here, read some questions, and you will see why.
