First off, you've been brainwashed to repeat the phrase "liberal media" over and over. The media is owned by huge corporations who don't have any incentive or reason to be liberal. When you see "support the troops" repeatedly or witness the way the media fell in lock-step support of the administration back in 2003 in the build-up to this war, that isn't a liberal media. I suppose you think Fox News is liberal too? They are the complete opposite, in support of Bush no matter how many stupid things he does. Now, to answer your "question". It reads more like a statement that the media is liberal and they never show anything good done by the troops. Wrong on both counts. Do you not remember seeing that Saddam Hussein statue falling over and over? How about the "mission accomplished" visit to an aircraft carrier that Bush performed? How about human interest story after human interest story covering individual troops and their families? You probably don't actually watch the news much in order to avoid the "liberal media", but if you did, you'd see that reporters simply report what's happening. Maybe you think it's fine and dandy that approx. 2500 of our people have died in this thing just so Bush's buddies can continue to be filthy rich from our addiction to oil, but a lot of us don't. And to not report things like that or the fact that yes, even the troops we're told to support might screw up once in a while would be not supporting the troops. It's only a few bad apples. We SHOULD expose them and prosecute the ones that unnecessarily massacre civilians before they make us all look bad. THAT's supporting the troops-- the good ones, which are the vast majority. Educate yourself-- stop speaking in catch-phrases that you learned from other barely-informed people. You've bought the lie that we have a liberal media. Is it because of the liberal media that Gore actually got more votes than Bush and Kerry never got a fair count in Ohio and they chose not to report that for more than a day? If this is a liberal media, I'd hate to see a conservative one. By the way, they're OUR troops, not "are" troops.

They're not only showing the bad things, they are just pointing out that the troops are doing bad things, while in a country we shouldn't be in, in the first place. (Iraq)

My cousin is in Afghanistan, as a medic...and he even said that he didn't want anything to do with the jails and stuff, because what teh media was saying was only a small part of the torture the prisoners are enduring from the troops.

LOL, there is no liberal media. Just editorials. The media is actually owned by the bullet and bomb makers so your not getting the truth. Everything is filtered by design to bring about a global economy. Don't look for good news from war. War is not good news for anyone.

the "Liberal media" is a lie. do you really think that the media is own by a bunch of tree hugging anti-war hippies?(and i mean this nicely, i am a liberal.) or by a bunch of corporate business men who are more interested in corporate welfare than national healthcare?

as for the troops, anything they are doing over there is bad.
100000-350000 dead iraqi's? the majority of those civilians? thats more than Saddam killed. 100 iraqi lives are being lost each day, 50 in Baghdad alone.

Bad news sells. People watch just as they strain to look at a car accident when they drive by. Sponsors pay for advertising space on news channels that have a large audience. There have been attempts at 'good news' programs and they flopped because people love dirty laundry. If a majority of watchers would start writing and calling the stations to complain about bias maybe it would help.

Yeah !!!!, The damn liberal media refuses to show our brave soldiers coming back from Iraq with our country's flag draped over their coffins. Why don't we honor them the way our beloved president does when he attends each and every one's funeral. You never see that reported in the "Liberal" news.

Because we're not allowed to see anything else the troops are doing. Like dying. (You know, of course, it's illegal to show flag-draped coffins coming home?)
