I went to that 3gforfree.com website and has those choices for ringtones. Also when you download it to your phone is there any charge at all when using that site? (i have a sprint phone with unlimited text messages)

The difference is the fact that polyphonic ringtones are made up of beats like an original ringtone. real/voice ringtones are made of an actual song clip. I definitely prefer real/voice ringtones as they are clearer and just in general better. most of the time the site will charge it to your mobile phone bill polyphonic rings are usually less expensive than others.

Polyphonic tones are tones that dont have the voice or real music. it sounds like the song but it is beeps and dings and different things that sound like the real song. a real/ voice tone is the song w/ the words and real music.

Polyphonic are types like >>MIDI>> ....BUT real voice tones are audio files types like >>Mp3....WAV...WMA...ACC.... etc.
