You are stuck on a small Hawaiian island. A volcano is erupting. A search helicopter has spotted you. You are with a 25-year-old stranger. There is only room for ONE on the helicopter. The other helicopter is on its way, but they are not sure if it will make it in time. Do you let the stranger get on the helicopter and risk your life, or do you jump in the helicopter and leave the stranger behind?

There is only room for one, because the helicopter is crapped with other survivors.

I'm going to kick the pilot out and fly the helicopter with the stranger, the pilot can wait for the other helicopter, because he'll probably have a way to communicate with them. We'll both be saved.

I let the stranger in the chopper and pray another helicopter will be there soon. If not, at least I've done an amazingly selfless deep and I'd be happy for it right before lava gets me.
There is always a reason for everything, so no matter how it turns out, it was destined to be that way. I believe that.

I would let the stranger get into the helicopter and I would ride the ladder that he clmber into the helicopter with.

I'd leave the stranger behind. If it was a friend or a family member or even a child or someone pregnant i did not know but a 25 yr old stranger? Na, they can wait their turn. I'm sorry, I'd probably feel guilty if they died but I'd still feel happy, I'm alive. Does that make me a bad person? i don't think so.

Hop on the helicopter. The 25-year old can wait, they are way younger than I am.

It really all depends on your own age and theirs and stuff like that. Since I am only 17, the stranger would probably tell me to get on the plane. If he tried to get on... the helicopter people would try to get me to go on. I have more of a llife ahead.... but if it was a pregnant woman... she would get on first. All those types of things they have to consider before choosing.

This may seem selfish, but I would get on the helicopter. I would definitely jump on the helicopter.

if i were to lie, i'd say i'd give the stranger the ride to safety. but in reality, i probably jump on the helicopter the first chance i get.
