Of course, wearing black doesn´t make you a bad person, but depending of the type of clothes you are wearing, you might look like a bad person and you might be taken as a bad person. Probably that is why your family is concern about the way you are dressing. Black could be very elegant and fancy, so maybe you can get to a balance between de color and the style, so you can use the color you like and look like a really nice person.

If you ask me there is no connection between the way you dress and your personality. Your parents just care about you, and are probably thinking that you are going into a gothic phase or something. A lot of ppl I know are labeled as gothic and wierd, but they claim to just like black. Picture what other ppl are seeing, and remember that your colors reflect your personality, so i suggest mixing it up a little; such as not wearing a complete black outfit, and/or wearing some pastel jewelry. Trust me, it will make a difference, socially, and your parents will calm down. Good luck!!!

No it just means you like the color black. Its how you act and treat people that makes you a good or a bad person. You are expressing yourself by wearing black. I like to look at the inside of a person not the outside. But just maybe try to add another color once in awhile, just to keep them guessing.

of course not. does wearing pink make you a good person?
usually, families that get upset with black-clad teens are reacting to a concern for the kid's mental health. are you abusing yourself in some way? are you depressed? or is this merely a fashion choice? are you living in a religious family and they think you're falling away, and this is an indicator?
if it's a fashion choice, and the above things aren't a factor, then it might be merely the idea that they are concerned for your impact on their collective image. (they think other people are going to be critical of you/them.) goth kids are usually rebelling in some way, and the fashion choice is a rejection of the mainstream. they might be afraid that this is only the beginning. or they might just think that teenage girls are supposed to look and act a certain way. it's sad, but it's a fact of life in the suburbs.

Many ppl think that wearing all black is a sign of rebellion. Or characterize them as freaks, like the artist Marilyn Manson. I myself wore all black because I was in a depressive state and that was my way of expressing how I felt. Wearing all black could be for many different reasons.

no way. Killing people swearing being disrespectful and inconsiderate makes you a bad person.
Appearence is more and more steorotypical today. All black peopel think you are goth and assocaite you with the devil and with Mariyln manson and just satanic things. i wear black Johnny Cash wore black. I just like it.
You can still be a very nice respectful person wearing black. You just have to try harder to do it.

Hey, they called Johnny Cash the" Man in black" for a reason. He was a great man, and a good man. So you wear all the black you want. Just don't paint your fingernails black.

Nope...to be a bad person you have to be bad on the inside...As cheesy as it sounds, the only thing that matters is what's on the inside...So if you want to wear all black, then more power to you!
