you can't convert a song file into a URL, a URL is a link to your webpage, the song would not play. but if you want the song on myspace, all you need to do is:

make a myspace.com page that is for music, and upload the song you want. after you make the music account, go to edit profile and manage songs, and then click add, and upload it from there by browseing. if you need more help, hit me up at my own myspace

1 you can't convert an url to an url, url stands for Uniform Resource Locator. It locates a file uploaded to a webserver then streams it on demand it to your selected player for the extention. ex: wma, mp3, avi, mpg, ect
2 if you wanted to add this to your collection all you have to do is when is playing click add to playlist in WMP, i think its pretty much the same in all players.
3 if it's in url form find out the artist and song, do a search on an file sharing program. If it's an mp3, just do the same but follow number 2.

i know what you mean,
i've tried doing that before too.
it doesnt work because it has to be in an mp3 format, you can't just upload it. and i dont know how to put it in mp3 format. if you figure it out, lte me know :\
