Mustang? People actually think a Mustang is better than a Corvette?
"Anybody that knows any thing about muslce knows a Mustang is better"? Sweet Jesus save us now. What a buch of f'n dumb asses.
Seriously, is this a real question?
Corvette is qucker, faster, and handles better. A BASE (not the Z06) 2006 Corvette (400hp) will hand it to ANY stock Mustang- Boss 302, CJ429, 5.0, SVT Cobra, even the new Shelby GT500- all will get that a$$ whooped, period. End of story.

Isn't that like asking which is better, vanilla or chocolate? The Corvette is a world class sports car with race car engineering, tons of horsepower and outstanding handling, with the price tag. The Mustang is not even in the same class, but still a fun car.

Corvette will mop the Mustang from one end to the other, but I think the Mustang is nicer looking. The Corvette still has one of the ugliest butts in automotive history.

Even though the mustang looks like a much better muscle car look, the corvette is the better performance #'s and was voted the best value supercar in the world. You will be suprised with its results.

Corvette has injectors and nanovalvs, which provide serious torque and steer. Sure mustangs are powerful yet maniholds and electric interfaces burn fast and hazardously, they know on this, yet do not make lipton or charter. Ford has a history of profitable and corteous managing, yet to their dismay not have a strong carter and a fierce engine on steel. Corvette is dynamic and expensive, to knowledgeable folks is confortable and spacious enough, plus goes some 25mph faster than mustang, even some 28 years ago. Bye.

you can't even compare the two they are 2 completely different classes of car. one is a muscle car, one is an expensive sports car. of course the corvette is better in every way, except room for passengers. its faster, gets equal gas mileage, can do a quarter mile long burnout, and handles like a dream. no contest... corvette wins. now mustang vs. camaro? i could argue that.
oh i forgot to mention, the 500 horsepower corvette zo6 runs 10s while the 500 horsepower mustang gt 500 runs mid to low 12s.

Corvette...There is no comparison in looks, in speed, and overall bang for the buck. The corvette is the best out there. It is the original American sports car.

Corvette hands down. As far as the new Shelby coming out, well let it take on a Z06, and you can send the mustang back to its stall. Peace.
