Hello,
I am really wanting to sew a handmade mesdium style messenger bag that i can make with tye dye cotten fabric, but im not able to find a pattern for it. and i was wondering where i could find one that is simple for begginers? thanks!

You could place paperboard in the sides and/or bottom, like pieces cut from a cereal box or out a a man's shirt packaging. For more stability you can lightly glue two pieces together. Poster board would probably work in this application also. You could also try foam board, but it may be a bit expensive for the size piece you need. It may be too late for this bag, but on the next you might try a heavy weight iron-on interfacing. Ask the clerk at your fabric store for a suggestion according to the fabric you are using.
