Do I believe? Nope. The photo and film of Bigfoot that really started the whole thing, although the American Indian had legends and stories about him, has been exposed as a fraud. The latest well documented sighting in Alaska when an entire community verified that one had entered their town and they had the hair to prove it turned out to be a Yak . I do believe that people enjoy believing in the extraordinary and the supernatural and interpret any and everything to support what they believe in. I have had people refer to the Indian legends as basis for their beliefs in Bigfoot. On the surface it sounds reasonable comparing it to stories about gorillas coming from natives in Africa that naturalist's of the time dismissed as local folklore. That is flawed logic as the American Indian also have assorted other stories and legends regarding where they came from , from a great cave, owls, coyotes, demons, etc..that I'm sure no one places much credence in now not even the Indian.
Bigfoot inhabits the same domain as UFO's, ghosts, demons, unicorns and all of the other fabulous creatures of mythology. Logic, although logic has no place in belief, tells me that with all of the traffic, hikers, hunters, campers, prospectors etc., in what was once the wild areas of this country would have come across tangible proof if in fact Bigfoot does exist.

Yes.Now I will tell you why:During the war,in Vietnam,a friend of mine was on a tactical training group,in the Everglades of Florida. He told me a scary story about Bigfoot, coming into the campground's one night. It was so awful, that it left him really scared. He was a good Army Fighter. They were given order's,to never speak of the ordeal, again.I'm telling you,it really messed this big, strong, level headed man up for life!

I DO have big feet (size 10's), and I DO travel a lot which means I always end up in SOMEbody's photos, inadvertently. But there's no need for the name-calling!! Humph!

I think Bigfoot is blurry, that's the problem. It's not the photographer's fault. Bigfoot is blurry. And that's extra scary to me, because there's a large, out-of-focus monster roaming the countryside. "Run. He's fuzzy. Get outta here."

Absolutely. I also believe in the Loch Ness monster. I know she has a cousin or something up in the Great Lakes, cuz I've seen her.

Bigfoot? I don't beleive in that stuff. I guess I would if I saw it, but c'mon! It could just as well be a bear, or even a very tall, overweight person. =}. Sorry, I just don't. You can though.

once when my dad was little he went on a trip with his boy scouts, him and his friend were canoeing and saw this big hairy thing that was like 8 ft tall but its body shape was the shape of a human and it was running like 60mph!
Isn't that freaky?!?

I think a man was a little too friendly with a bear ... maybe bigfoot is a crossbreed.
