I live in florida...an hour away from where the accident happened...go to floridatoday.com..that is our newspaper here or orlandosentintal.com.....but it was not the rides fault, he had a heart defect...I have been on Mgms Aerosmiths rock and roll coaster several times and so has my 8 yr old daughter and it was fine...There are signs posted everywhere before you get on the ride, if you have these so and so conditions , you should not ride but i think for him, he did not know he had the heart defect, it is saying that this is a common problem and it is an unfourtante thing to happen. If that was my son, i would totally be devasted. my hearts go out to them but it is not Disney's fault

It was a 12 year old boy who's family rode rock n roll roller coaster. When the ride came to a stop the boy was unconscious and the dad attempted cpr without success. The family said that the boy felt fine the night before and the morning before entering the park. Sorry but that's what I recall from the posting that I read online.

While his father said he had been healthy he had a congenital heart defect. Congenital means it's a defect from birth. While that alone won't kill you, added stress or a major scare can. The ride was ultimately too much for his heart and it gave out.

The child died because of a congential heart heart problem.What this means is that more than Likely the parents didn't know that their child had this......this is a common problem......you also see this alot with young atheletes
