I've seen this before, the java loads your CPU and your video card, which draws more power.

You are either overheating, in which case you should check your fans and clean out the dust bunnies, or

Your power supply is right on the edge, and when your voltage drops under load the PC crashes.

Use canned air to clean out the dust. See a PC technician if you are not comfortable swapping power supplies.

u do know that alot of hackers use java to deliver viruses!

so if u turn java on and ur computer shuts off, that means a virus is causing it! unninstall java and get a virus/spyware scan! then reinstall java again!

My computer has great security and maybe yours does too and detects some sort of virus.

don't be afraid and be positive towards ur system , its just a machine. if you are not able to understand why it shuts off ask ur vender to help you

Try un-installing it and installing again.. because some files could be courpted...
