I against gay marriage for many reasons, (but I am not against gays!).
For starters: Most forms of homosexual sex reek havoc on the body. It tears up the anal canal, destroys the immune system, it often involves insertions of objects into the anal area that the body just can't tolerate! Homosexuals have a 0 percent total monogamy rate-that tells you the relationships are unstable and don't last! Homicide is very common in the homosexual community and so is physical abuse (which is often presented as erotic pleasure believe it or not). The homosexual community engages many more acts of illegal sex (such as pedophilia) than the straight community. By the way, do you know that many of those Catholic priest who acted as sexual predators where homosexuals? I have a brother who was homosexual, but died of A.I.D.S.. Our anatomy is designed for heterosexual purposes, any other way creates problems. One should also take seriously the Biblical injunction against homosexual practices-there put there for our protection, not to spoil the party!

Its funny that in the old day, people used to have arranged marriage and that changed because people didn't like being told who they could, should, have to marry.
Now there is a big deal being made about wither or not someone who is gay should be allowed to do what is in there heart instead of what others believe they should do , can or can not do and so on.
It is pretty sad that this is all people have to do with their time, is telling and saying how they think others should live their lives.

Marriage is actually composed of two parts: civil and religious. Thus, the validity of both a church wedding and a civil wedding in front of a judge. Anyone can profess their love for someone in a ceremony; however, not everyone can legalize their union. Why should a gay couple be prohibited from legalizing their union and gaining access to rights that straight couples take for granted such as health insurance, inheritance rights, tax deductions, co-parenting, visiting their loved one in the hospital and making decisions for them when incapacitated.

We as a society judge good, upstanding citizens based solely on their sexual orientation but allow the same rights to criminals based solely on their heterosexuality. Does not make sense.

I am happily married, 20 plus years, heterosexual relationship for us however honestly, I have no problem with gay marriages. I think they have just as many rights and feelings and all of it as we do. I think it is society as a whole that can't accept something that is out of the "ordinary" or "norm" but who decides that? I say if you are gay or a lesbian, and you find that life partner, be happy, enjoy it, go through all of it! We are here but once, and I don't think people's perception should matter anyways.I think it is not just their right, it is how they were born, it is who they are, so what's the difference?

i am not a christian i am very much an agnostic but i do not believe in gay marriages or gay union. homosexuality is as old as humanity itself. it is primitive. culture has invented a wise institution and that is the family. let's not destroy this institution by mocking the very foundations on which it was built. gays and lesbians are acting selfishly in that they follow their emotions rather than the dictates of reason. for me,the need of society must be addressed first, not the need of individuals. too much freedom will lead us to perdition. the perfect society is a society where the greatest good is realized for the greatest number of people, not the greatest good of every individual. that is anarchy

I completely support gay marriage. They are no different than you and I. They have to right to love happiness and family just the same as all of us. I just wish our government would recognize that. Oh and just to push the envelope a little futher I also support a gay couple adopting.

This is against human nature and physical functions of each sex. I am totally against it. Its a source of problems, diseases, and what's the main idea behind a marriage without bringing children?

God have put this desire inside humans and all animals to keep the kind from extinction.

Whoever is in true love, and vow to take care of each other till death do they part, should get married. This applies to all.
That means, I'm not against gay/lesbian marriages.
Everybody is responsible for their own actions and thoughts. Therefore, I have only the right to mind my own business.
