I am just starting my first BC pill pack. I started my period last night (Friday) or basically Saturday. I am supposed to start my pill pack Sunday then but I forgot my pills at home and I am on vacation. What should I do? Can I just take 3 pills when I get back on Wednesday, wait til next month, or just start on the next Sunday?

Just start next month. Read the information they give you in the packet. Better yet, you can probably go on-line right now by typing in your brand of pill and it will tell you what to do. I've always started on my first day of my period.

You shouldn't take 3 pills on Wednesday...but you can start the following week (I guess it would be next Sunday).

I would call the local pharmacy and have them transfer one refill to a pharmacy that is close to were you are vacationing, most states allow this - you just need to provide the name and number of the pharmacy where you normally get your pills filled- have the pharmacist call your insurance for a vcation override, give them a couple of hours to do this , thank them with a box of chocolates : )

I'd be tempted to start the next Sunday...but, to be really safe, i guess waiting until next month is your best bet.

I think you should talk with your doctor instead cause soemtimes it depends on you/your body to take the pills. Im young but I know cause of my friends/mom.
