i'll probably offend you by saying no, but no. i have a problem with art that doesn't allow for much creativity in the way it's drawn. maybe i haven't looked into it enough, but it all looks pretty generic to me.
i've been told there are a few exceptions, like some of the movies coming out in theaters in the past years. generally though, i tend to stray away from anime.

Yes, I do like some anime. However, being the book nerd I am I usually preffer the original manga over anime.

I like some of it, in that the Japanese standards for movies make you think a lot more than America. I think that's why people didn't like The Matrix...cuz you had to think. I loved it.
