I think that England have played quite well. We have had very bad luck, losing some of our best players, especially Owen.
And today, Beckham was injured and Rooney went beserk.
If those three had all been playing, I think we would have won.
As it is, I think England DESERVED to win over Portugal. I feel very sorry fpr the players, and it was hard to see how badly it hit them, especially Rio Ferdinand (my favourite)

because we are not good enough and should not have been there we started to believe we could play but we were only because of luck or uri geller or something but certainly not for being the best in the world maybe next tim we live in hope but not in glory

If you mean england-then it is partly due to the fact we cant really take gd penalties. But it is also due to the fact that portugal are slimy cheats. They dive like they are being shot and pester the ref to make him give them whatever they want. Ronaldo is a cheat who thinks he is supreme beacuse of that goal. Please let them be brought down a peg or 8!

err.. you didn't have an earthly of winning it in the first place, it was your usual culprits in the thicko media who feed you the same old lies you stupidly believe.
England were never going to win this competition.
You should be glad you did not have to meet Argentina who would have humbled you.

Players are paid too much, not motivated to do their best. They worked harder when David B left, even better team when Ronney was gone.
