The referee did a very good job.
Rooney had that coming and even as an England supporter I think he deserved that slap in the face. You cannot play top class football and mouth off, whine, cry and complain every time something doesn't go your way. I thought he deserved yellow after he grabbed portugese crotch but pushing a player... the referee had no choice. I applauded when I saw that.
Grow up wayne!

England had two penalties not given, and Rooney whould have not been shown the red card

It seems that gemini has not seen the game to talk like that, protugal sucked a lot and if portugal had not deco, england was without owen, who is injured, so on that level they were draw as well

Rooney needs anger management but Ronaldo still tried 2 purposely p*** him off and he should have only got a yellow card. They were whiny faking liers- besides that guy still had his other ball left :P

He was 10000000000 % fair ! because what Rooney did was awful ! and i think that the referee didn't want to give a Red card, but Rooney said something offensive to him, because he gave it after talking to him, not directly.
They deserve to loose, because i hate fanatic people, and English fans sometimes act like crazy.
poor German police, they will work all night.

He was the fairest ref of them all. He didn't take any crap from the diving players on *both* sides, and Rooney's red was just. He was a lot fairer than the ref *we* got stuck with (Arg-Ger).

OH PLEASE....ROONEY STEPPED ON PURPOSE HOPING THE REF WOULDN'T SEE..AND ROONEY LOST..

PEOPLE TALK TRASH ALLL THE TIME....YOU HAVE TO LEARN NOT TO RETALIATE...

PORTUGAL WAS THE UNDERDOG OF THE MATCH..BY BEING 2 PEOPLE DOWN AND HAVING ONE OF THEM BEING DECO....ALL WOULD AGREE AND THEY MET ENGLAND SQUARE ALL THE WAY THROUGH...AND RICARDO WAS AWESOME!!!!

On the contrary! Hargreaves should have been booked, which he was not, for example for keeping the ball. Petit was booked for that, why wasn't Hargreaves??? Just to mention one small example. I'm still too nervous and absolutely happy! OFF TO CELEBRATE!!
