He grew up in a farm in Waimea, Hawaii. The comic books were all translated from Pidgin to the English version. His chest use to have a K (for Kahuna); the Hawaiian alphabet doesn't have the letter "S". He later got a job as a reporter for the Honolulu Advertiser in downtown Honolulu (Metropolis) posing in his secret identity as Kalaka Keneka (Clark Kent). He was faster than a whirling poi ball, even faster than a speeding pua'a, more powerful than speeding double hull canoe!!!
