they've been setting him up for a fall for some time!
It was a bad challenge and a stupid mistake and I think he'll suffer for it in the press............

No... simply because they love Rooney too much and it is unclear why he got a red card. Beckham could have prevented his card more easily where as Rooney was fighting for the ball and happened to just get an unfair red card.
Also, Rooney was England's best chance at the world cup and if he wasn't on the field at all, people reckon England would've lost anyway!

Nahh..it won't happen...simply cos the media will focus on the antics of a certain other Manchester United player.....Plus...Rooney didn't get sent off because of the stamp...he was sent off because that certain other Man Utd player ran to the ref..and Rooney pushed him...

They should do. His immaturity needs bringing under control.
His loss put the team at a disadvantage.

MAYBE. BUT I DON'T SEE ANY MAJOR FAULT TO ROONIE. HE JUST PUSHED CHRISTIANA RONALDO LIGHTLY BUT RONALDO DIDN'T EVEN RESPOND TO THAT. I THINK YOUNG ROONIE WAS JOKING WITH HIS MATE RONALDO.
