Would you be asking that question if he had done the same thing to a player from a different team ?
Shouldn't you be asking the following :-
Is Rooney a tosser for getting sent off ?
Is Beckham a tosser for being an egotistical, attention seeker who puts himself before the good of his nation.
Is Sven a tosser for not recognising the fact that he couldn't organise his team to play to win by including the one-trick pony (Beckham) in it.
