It has been said that Hitler was great with speeches with the public. But I think that Hitler was an awful person. I think that Adolf Hitler was not a great ruler because a great ruler thinks about their citizens and respects everyone, no matter what race, gender, political/religious beliefs, etc. I personally think that Hitler never understood why things happen a certain way, so he made up his own ways, and if anyone questioned it, they would be punished. It has also been said that Adolf Hitler suffered many mental illnesses in his time.

Well my freind lets take a little historical tour.
What do you know he caused ww2 which killed 50 million. Hey
and look he caused a series of famins what a great guy don't
you think.
And hey look what else he did he tried to rid the world of
Jews which killed 6 million men, women and children. Oh
man does he deserve the Nobel Prize or what. (END OF
BEING SARCASTIC).
He was an evil man who had no regard for human life.
But there are things that were found out about him
in history like his medical condition. He had a docter named Dr. Loral who injected him with drugs which caused him to become a
sycho path. So you could say that his evil actions
were the result of drugs.
One positive thing may be that he wanted to divide the world into
5 regions which was his original plan.
Actually some people even say that he was not aware of the holacaust until 10 days before his death so he might have been
innocent. There are a lot of reasons why he could have been
evil. But I do like his idea of dividing the world into 5 regions
but over all I am more then happy he is dead.

Hitler was a psychologically disturbed individual who through his demonic deeds killed over 20,000,000 people, many of whom were Germans. He was carried away by his own importance as a God-like human being. Absolutely nothing that he did disturbed him. He had 6 million Jews killed without even wincing once. He killed millions of Russians, Poles, Romanians, etc. and he reconciled this mass murder by stating it was for the future purity of Germany. And, how many people died horrible deaths as slaves in labor camps? The man did several useful things for Germany but it was never worth how he went about getting it done. It was recently shown that Hitler was a heavy drug addict and his doctor kept him alive by giving him daily injections (many times a day) to keep him going. He also had a disease which made him tremble and this required more drugs. The man was a walking drug store as his physician later admitted. In the long run Hitler single-handed destroyed Germany and what it could have been had it gone in another direction. Hitler also destroyed many additional countries who suffered under this demagogue's rule. Hitler was bad not only for Germany but the entire world.

Our society likes to look at the effects of a problem rather than the cause, such as: abortion, social security, the never ending killing in the middle east. The same applies to hitler. The political and economic situations in and around Germany in the 1920's & 30's not only allowed people like hitler to come to power, it incouraged that kind of person to seek power. The same applies to mussolini in Italy and stalin in Russia. When people are out of work and hungry they will listen to whoever will get them jobs and food. The people in Germany, Italy and Russia would not have followed these 3 if the basic necessities in life were available to them.

I don't see Hitler as a great ruler. Napoleon I, Alexander the Great, ... they were great rulers. Not Hitler.
Indeed he was one the personalities that marked the XX-th century and its remarkable how he succeeded in installing his political regime (the Nazism) and how he promoted the Nazi ideology. Yes, he had a brilliant mind, but he used it for bad purposes. He invented the "Blitzkrieg". But still, I can't compare Hitler with Napoleon or Alexander or other great rulers.

HE WAS A GOOD RULER , HE KNEW HOW TO GET THINGS DONE, THOUGH MOST OF HIS WAYS WERE INHUMAM.THE GUY WAS REALLY MESSED UP IN HIS HEAD WHEN HE THOUGHT THAT THE ONLY WAY TO PURIFY GERMAN BLOOD WAS TO KILL THE JEWS,THIS SHOWS WHAT A FOOL HE WAS
IN HIS TIME THE BRITISH EMPIRE WAS CONSIDERED TO BE THE GREATEST IN THE WORLD,THE POSITIVE SIDE WAS HOW HE ATTACKED THE BRITISH INSPITE OF KNOWING THAT THEIR DEFENCES WERE ACTULALLY QUITE INFERIOR THAN THE BRITISH AT THAT TIME, HITLER SUCCEDED IN DOING SOME DAMAGE TO THE BRITISH FORCES IN THE SECOND WORLD WAR BEFORE HE REALISED THAT HIS EFFORTS BECAME FUTILE IN CONQUERING THE WHOLE WORLD.IN THE END HE KILLED HIMSELF COZ HE DIDNT WANT TO GET CAUGHT

Great ruler...no. A great ruler has the interests of all his citizens in mind. He symbolizes all that can be wrong when one is given absolute power...it corrupts absolutely. He also reflects what we do not want our society to be....intolerant, prejudicial, corrupt, cruel, lacking rights, etc. That, is it in a nutshell.
