Barry bonds*

Of course he is. He used steroids which are illegal - not only in baseball, but everywhere. His records - if you can call them that - are tainted. He should be banned from baseball and made to watch baseball from the outside like Pete Rose. Bonds is a disgrace to the game.

Barry Bonds is no more of a cheater then Gaylord Perry who scuffed the ball ,all the players who used amphetimines during the 70's or the hundreds of players that used steroids to get an edge over the 90's that hasn't been caught yet .....Like Roger Clemons.
Barry Bonds is the greatest hitter of my generation bar none.

I've contemplated this question quite a bit myself. Do I believe he took steroids knowingly? Of course. So in that regard did he cheat? Yes. However at the same time I think it's a shame because he probably could've put up similar numbers without them. Even when Barry was a skinny little punk with the Pirates he could hit the ball. No one, and I mean no one in baseball has quicker hands than him. Like Ozzie Guillen said in an interview in Playboy "You can take any random *******, pump him up with steroids but he still couldn't hit a 90 mph fastball." How much do steroids really help with hitting a baseball? Does anyone really know the answer to that question? No. You can sit here and preach on all day about how much it affects it but you're just pulling information out of your ***. Like someone else said he is the best hitter of the last 10-15 years, bar none, with or without steroids (although I GREATLY disagree with your comment about Clemens, that guy has a tremendous workout in the offseason). Barry has baseball in his blood and great baseball at that. His dad was a hell of a player, his godfather was one of the greatest of all time. Growing up around those two, you don't think any of that is going to rub off on him? You can cry all you want about the home runs he's hit, but steroids don't give you a .370 batting average multiple years. Seriously, look at some of the other guys busted for steroids. Matt Lawton, that random nobody with the Devil Rays, do you see them hitting the ball like Barry, no. So yeah he took steroids, but 98% of it is still talent.

Everyone around him has been involved in steroids, trainers, corporations, you know the rest. Steroids are cheating, Bonds is cheating. He has destroyed records precious to baseball and I believe Roger Maris is still our rightful single season home run champ. I hope Bonds is exposed before it is too late.

He's a major cheater. What makes him worse than the other players who have been accused of using PED's, he kept denying any wrong-doing....that is until one of his lawyers explained he was toast and then he wanted to make a deal. He's the same as an other crook that gets caught.

he used steroids and that is cheating. at first i let him slide but so much heat went on rafael palmeiro and that was it. they both basically said the same thing and rafael took the biggest hit. but with barry how could you take 2 different creams from your trainer and not even ask what they are. i think he knew but he didnt ask so if he got caught he could use that same excuse he is using today. talking bout he had trust in his trainer not to ask what it was. if you ask me thats bulls**t and he should have all his stats taken away from him.

>>Bonds a cheater<< Anyone who uses steroids for athletic gain is ignorant...Steroids were not against the rules in baseball until 2003...You can't make them against the rules retroactive to a subjective date...Anyone who uses them now is cheating, anyone who used them before they were against the rules was not cheating...IMHO BB should do more to remove drugs from the game, BB is a much better game without them...

YES!
He is a disgrace and his so called records should be thrown out.
He dishonors all the GREATS before him that did this with guts and love of the game.
Not the fame and money like him.
