It's relly a shame for a country which has very attractive (at least, in my opinion) and interesting league football to perform so miserable at the world cups (not just this one!). They are overrated at the national level, and they need some changes. Will anyone tell them that Beck has played his games and they will never win because they just a cute guy in their team!!!!!!!!?????????

It definately was an exciting match in overtime. I think England played better a man down. Sucks what happened to Rooney. The ref didn't see it. No cheers for the coach...
I still love you guys. England rules!!! At least they made it this far!!! 9 wins, 1 draw... great job!

The best game so far of all quarter finals, and the english went out with honours IMO, even Argentinians went out with honours, while we have 2 teams (1 to be decided yet) that should have been out by the second round and these teams are France and Italy!

No strikers = no win.
the first real opposition they face they are gone and yeah they deserved it. They may have played better today but overall nobody should be too devastated because with no strikers it is really no surprise.
Any armchair coach or fantasy football coach would have had the sense to go to major tournament with strikers.
