He was the fairest ref of all! You're just upset because the child Rooney got caught playing dirty and you lost. The ref didn't call fouls *every* time the Portuguese dived, and a lot of times he should have called England he didn't, so it was even. He was a lot fairer to England than an English referee would have been to us. Just look at the answers above me, claiming that ALL Argentinians are cheaters. (Do you know everyone in Argentina? Didn't think so.)

I agree, you find that for all the criticism Beckham gets for being too flash no substance, the pretty boy with no brains, the crap they hound him with about his wife, marriage and kids, etc., when it comes down to it he is a very talented football player.
What bugs me about the J-media though is since Japan lost out they are still showing games, highlights and featuring the WC on the news. How can we enjoy rants about the J-media if they keep this up???

I'm an England fan,but I don't think his judgement related to his nationality,he was not that bad except that call.

i recon he was the fairest, best and most reliable referees ive seen in this cup, all the other referees are blind and go in favor of one of the sides, this ref was absolutely perfect.
