Simple, people fear what they don't know. Hate is simply ignorance. Yes we should love each other and embrace one anothers differences to learn and grow. People are snobby and stubborn though!

Look people are afraid of what they can't understand. If someone is different from you, you're threatened because they are not like you. This fear can grow into hate, and that hate can become and everlasting predjudice passed down from one generation to the next.

If you've ever read Steinbeck's Grapes of Wrath, there is a great example. After the drought and the damage of crops, and the unpaid loans, farmers were forced to leave their lands of origin and migrate towards the west. California is were they would supposedly find jobs. However when they got there, they were treated with disrespect, called derogatory names like "okies", mistreated, and paid unfairly. They worked for meager wages and put up with abuse from everyone including the police officers. and Why did they deserve this abuse? they didn't. The californians were threatened my the migrants and were afraid that they would take their jobs and their lands. They were afraid that they would infiltrate their neighborhoods and their children would learn with them inschools. From that fear stemmed a hate so putrid that they would do anything to keep those migrants out, anything to stop them from interrupting their way of lives. The same thing happened during the civil rights movement..... but that's a different story

Also people are afraid of differences because society makes those differences apparent. When you were a child, did you recognize that certain people were white or certain people were black? No!, everyone was the same. the only difference was their personality. That is what you judged a person by. As you get older, society forces you to see those differences. Society creates those rifts between groups.
The only way to stop the hate is to start with love. Educate children from the start that no one is superior to them because of their race of social background. That everyone is equal. That no matter what race, sex, sexual orientation, or whatever, love your brother, love your neigbor as god intended

sorry, got a little into it

because maybe the person that hates the other probably wants that person to be the same. and sometimes that is the core reason why we should not love each other. it depends on the people. and the last thing is that we should all love each other for who we are not what we look like. it does not matter on the outside but it matters whats on the inside. because in gods way we are all brothers and sisters no matter what!

It is a vicious circle. Parents teach this prejudice to their children (either by example or otherwise), then the children grow up and hand this learned hatred to their children and on it goes. Until the cycle is broken and the ignorance and fear of differences ends, the cycle of hatred continues to be handed down from generation to generation.

That's pretty simple to answer. There's always more than one way to look at things. The first way to look at it is common and ordinary intolerance, the second comes from frustration.
Love each other?? I don't know about that, but I can sure say that tolerating one another is helpful and healthy.

Difference engendre haine, difference engenders hate. Why? Because if you have something I don't, I get jealous. Why? Because in that aspect, then, you have more power than I. And life is will to power.

Cause people are lazy and prefer not to to challenge themselves.
When people are comfortable they have little motivation to become openminded and expand their horizons.
