I am no computer expert, but that is true. There are no good and cheap laptops. But if you are looking for a laptop that is cheap and will good enough to do pretty much what you need, I would suggest going to Wal-Mart. com or Wal-Mart itself. They have some great computers there that are at a low price. Or you can visit Office Depot. Anywhere that sells laptops should have some that are at low prices. The lowest price I seen was 379.39. This was at Gateway.com. Hope this helps.

I'd figure out what is your budget and what your computing needs are. If you are a light user and only do e-mail you might even consider a used laptop, versus if you are a gamer you might want the latest Dell laptop with lots of RAM, a graphics chip and a very fast CPU. Once you have figured it out search google for "used laptops" if you want refurbished or "cheap laptops" if you want new.

If your not a gamer (like I am) then seems that Dell and Gateway both have some good deals on laptops.....the saying "you get what you pay for" definately applies to laptops though....bought one from Walmart for my g-friend and although it's great for the internet and some older games, it would never begin to run the games I play on mine (Alienware) If I remember right, go to:
www.laptopshop.com
they have some good deals on used ones and have been to their store, they are a good company.
