P.S. We also played with 10 men against Holland. That doesn't mean a thing. Sometimes it's even better for a team because the players get more motivated.

England is the most overated team int he cup. plus portugal came in with nobody! their whole team was carded. SECOND OF ALL. they had beckham for half the time and he still did nothing. they lost the game not because of rooney or beckham btu because they are overrated and everyone was shocked. finally theyll be put in their place.
o and rooney is a hothead who needs to cool it. and dont cry about bad penatly call that the reff made for rooney. imagine what portugal went through their last game.

Come on France you can do it! Portugal was not really the better team in my opinion, as England was just about to get started until Rooney was sent off as most of the Portugal team hassled the Ref hate it when teams do that. You don't see it in the Premership best League in the world might I add. Ronaldo will never be a Legend as he is far to cocky. Thinks him self great and gods gift when he looks like a fisherman. I didn't like him when he was at Manchester. He looks like a knob and acts like one. I don't have any problem with any other portuguese players. Figo Brilliant. Rui Costa, Conceicao, Pauleta, xavier and Nuno Gomes all brillant. Ronaldo lets the side down with his arrogance. Apart from that I really don't mind Portugal at all. The Country is beautiful and so are the people.

Well, it seems we aren`t playing against Brazil. But, you`re right Atomin - we do love Brazil. And trust me, everyone was cheering them on - Portuguese wanted Brazil to go to the semi-finals. Me? I was hoping to see Portugal play Brazil. I think it would be a good game with two teams who play instead of putting 9 men inside the goalkeepers area!!! When we played with 10 against Holland we still ran around... England sucked!!! Face it and grow up!! And Rooney has a lot to learn - why did he do that? Come on... Portugal was much better and don`t forget we played without 2 of our best players (Deco and Costinha). Cause if they had been on the field England would have been crushed...

i am just glad that the boring England team are out,
i have never seen a team with so much negative thoughts despite the fact they have some of the best attacking players in the world.

and what about them playing for penalties from the 62nd minute,,(what a joke) they know they are useless at penalties from the recent record so why play for them)
watch this space and watch the fans wreck Germany before heading home, they have not been to bad upto this stage but this is there first defeat,, will we see the real English hate mob surface now ??? I hope not but !!!!!!!

hmm - not sure you're the better team if you couldn't beat ten men with eleven and had to rely on penalties - still your goalie did a great job there.
Also fouls given by the ref is not the same as fouls actually made by the opposition - a fair number of your free kicks came from theatrical rolling around and petitioning the ref - hardly sporting!
Still England didn't play particularly well, so we can't complain. Though if I was Portugeuese I wouldn't be crowing over my teams very average performance!

The 'better team' as you are calling them were not able to attack agains 10 men and also had the ref to thanks as you surely had 2 penalties against, brasil will DESTROY you lol
Other statistics you should have shown is the amount of diving the portugals did, seemed as if you were the italians
