He went before the ref blew the whistle. A definite no-no. Someone got yellow-carded for that... Someone in the US-Ghana game, maybe? I can't remember.

England fans, I know this pains you, but there was no whistle. If you watch it again, you can tell, because Ricardo just stands there, he puts his hands up and doesnt move, and the ref instantly calls for the retake...i apologize for the red card and give you my condolances...
