in yahoo, yeah, your suppose to be able to, all they do is move it to your trash, so you can recover if you want. in other e-mail servers, no idea, it depends.

Depends on the type of email you are using. If it's a web-based one like Yahoo, Hotmail, etc...then you can try searching through your temporary internet files folder. (Tools > Options, Settings, then click View Files. There will be a LOT of files there, so do a search and have it search for files containing a piece of text in the email you are trying to recover). It's a long-shot but it could work.
If it's Microsoft Outlook, it is significantly wasier. The following steps will let you recovered deleted items:
1. Select the deleted items folder
2. Click 'Tools' menu then 'Recover deleted items' option
3. Highlight the messages required (or, select all, if it was a 'big' mistake)
4. Click the 'Recover selected items' button.
5. Select the deleted items folder.
6. Drag the recovered item(s) to your inbox (or other folder that you want it in).
If you update the question with what you use for your email, I can see if I can find more specific instructions.

most e-mails will have a "recently deleted mail" folder that will hold deleted mail for 24+ hours before it really deletes them.

Usually once you delete it from the trash folder, it's gone forever. Sorry.
Best wishes and God bless.

I don't think u can. Maybe if you stop the page REALLY quick then MAYBE u might be able to save it. If it was from someone u know then ask them to send it again. Happens to me all the time.
