Maybe that's the entire point of the commercials. If you don't like it, change the channel when they come on. In the real world, people come in all shapes and sizes and no one gives a flip if you're stylish or thin as a toothpick. Real beauty is what you allow to radiate from the inside and I can tell you, by just this question, I can tell your real beauty runs quite thin. Personality and being loving and happy in your own skin, no matter what the media tells you to look like, is where true beauty comes from.

And "people who aren't actresses look a little better than them?" What are you insinuating? That people are only pretty if they are famous? Sorry to tell you, but you've got a LOT of growing up to do.

I am gonna guess that you are quite young. I would gently suggest that you pay more attention in school with reference to your grammar and spelling and sentence formation, than to the Dove Campaign and the 'real women' that were chosen to represent the product. Further, in answer to your question, "No" the Dove Campaign does not annoy me. Here is something to ponder the next time you see a Dove Advertisement; think "Illiteracy In American", what can I do to help?

With all due respect I think you are just being cynical and prosaic.Real beauty is on the inside and you apparently are in favour of superficial beauty;the only potentially ugly person around could be yourself. This campaign is perhaps the most wonderful, innovatory initiative that has ever been conceived, displaying obviously REAL women, not plastic ones.

P.S.:True enough:learn how to spell first honey.

Wooah!!

Have you ever heard the saying "if you're ugly on the inside, you're ugly on the outside," cause this seriously applies to you.

If anything, those women represent true beauty because they take pride in themselves and their body. Their not afraid to show off what they have because people like you think they should be skinnier or younger or near perfection. I'd like to see what you looki like, before you go critisizing anybody else chic.

And by the way, wait till you get older.... it happens to everyone. All the cosmetic surgery, exercise, and beauty products in the world could never save you from that fate. Accept it, revel in it and move on.

Don't let these things bother you so much. You have a long life ahead...assuming you don't spend too much of your time ticking off real women. If Dove commercials get your blood pressure up this high I suggest you hop up off the couch and have a nice run in the park. Endorphins might be wonderful for your attitude.

You are a materialistic, mean, and rude person. Do you not understand DOVE is trying to tell people you don't have to be super skinny and super pretty to be beautiful. You are the kind of inconsiderate people that dove is trying to get rid of!!! They are not fat, ugly, or flabby, and they are not overweight they are the correct weight! You don't have to be anorexic, probally like you, to be "unoverweight."...They are beautiful inside and outside...unlike you! Come on lighten up!!!

I'm going to laugh at you in about 15-20 years chic...
they will probably be better looking now, than you later...lol..
also, learn how to spell before you talk mess,ok...

By the way,I have two daughters, and they are thin and beautiful.
I make sure I teach them not to be like girls such as you.
Yea,it's ok to look your best...but when you belittle other people,it shows your really aren't as hot as you think you are, but insecure.

also, who doesn't look good when they are young?
that's so freakin easy, you don't have to work at it...
that's why it's called THE BEAUTY OF YOUTH, FOOL...
try having something take over your body for 9 months
then have to actually "work" to get it back...that's who
I like to see...you know what...I look good for 2 kids !

It doesn't annoy me at all. In fact it's refeshing to see something different to the cookie cutter beauty commercial. Since it disgusts you so much maybe you'd better find a hobby that doesn't include TV.

The only ugly people are those who think ugly thoughts. And judging from this, you're thinking some seriously ugly thoughts.
