Should the US lower the flag for a day for each fallen soldier?

If you don't think the flag should be lowered to half mast to honor the death of EACH fallen soldier, why not?

This was a good question, it really makes you think. Why not lower the flag? Are they not intitled to the honor? I wish we could lower the flag for each of them but as the above answers stated, if this was done the flag would never fly and we would lose the biggest symbol of why they lost their lives in the first place.

it would be on the ground then you would have to dig a hole and burry it
