Our girls team had 5 on the court, and 8 on the bench ... we always had three extra PG's.

The guys now they had 15 guys on the basketball team and of course ... only 5 on the court!

On a NBA team there are 12 players. 5 on the floor and 5 on the bench. You may only dress 12 players for a game and any of them can be activated or un activated if the coaching staff/managment/owners decide to do so.
